Tor Ballet is a UK-based adult ballet initiative founded by Dr.Kateryna Tor, dedicated to making classical ballet accessible, inclusive, and inspiring for adults of all levels.

Based in the UK, Tor Ballet combines professional ballet training with a welcoming and supportive environment, offering classes designed for:

- complete beginners
- returning dancers
- adults seeking fitness, flexibility, and artistic expression

At Tor Ballet, we believe that ballet is not only for professionals — it is for everyone who wants to move, improve, and feel confident in their body.

What We Do

Tor Ballet brings together two main directions:
Ballet Classes
‍
We offer structured ballet classes for adults focused on:

1. Classical technique — Vaganova, Royal Ballet, Modern Martha Graham, and a supportive, creative Ukrainian teaching style that inspires without assessments or judgement.

2. Performances (optional). We don’t simply move for fitness — we study movement styles drawn from a variety of ballets. Three to four times a year, we perform on stage. Yes, we dance real ballet.

3. Community. We foster a truly supportive community of people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. We make no distinction between professional dancers and complete beginners. Our classes refine existing technique, provide inspiration, and warmly welcome newcomers into the world of ballet, helping them take their first steps in a friendly atmosphere.

4. Wellbeing and personal growth. You will discover physical, emotional, and personal benefits almost effortlessly, because the learning process is genuinely enjoyable.

As we work exclusively with adults, we continuously research their needs and create garments especially for them. Our patterns are thoughtfully designed to offer fuller coverage, enable wearing any underwear beneath, feature lower leg cuts, wider gussets, adjustable straps, and use professional, highly elastic fabrics that don’t stretch out or lose colour — even with daily washing.

We provide quality at a fair, mid-range price.

Each collection is created with real adult dancers in mind, adult sizes (8-24) and a made-to-measure option responding to needs often overlooked by traditional ballet brands.

Returns & Refunds Policy
‍We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

‍Returns
‍You may return most items within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging with all tags attached. For hygiene reasons, pointe shoes, tights, toe pads cannot be returned unless faulty. To start a return, please contact us at katerynator@gmail.com with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.

‍Refunds
‍Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 working days. Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or we made an error with your order.

‍Exchanges
‍If you need a different size or colour, please start a return and place a new order for the replacement item.

‍Faulty or Damaged Items
‍If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos so we can resolve the issue quickly.

‍Return Shipping
‍Customers are responsible for return postage costs, except in cases of faulty or incorrect items. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot refund items lost in transit.

Restocking Fee (2% Bank Processing Charge) All returns and refunds are subject to a 2% restocking fee, which covers non-refundable bank processing charges associated with Stripe payments.
This fee is automatically deducted from the refund amount. The remaining balance will be returned to the original payment method once the refund is processed.
